Besides, you can automate the conversion process by using Windows Task Scheduler. Ability to import SQL queries into Oracle. Ability to export Access data into dump file. Dump file is an intermediate work file generated from source database. With it you can migrate data in two steps: 1) Export Access data into dump file; 2) Import the dump file into Oracle. When you cannot connect to source and target databases simultaneously, dump file can be very useful. Ability to establish flexible mappings between source and destination tables. Table names, field names, and field numbers can be different between source and target databases. Robust error-handling mechanism recording every possible error without any user interaction. Fully optimized performance resulting in quicker manipulation of large amounts of data. Support for Oracle 8i and any later version. Support for Microsoft Access version 95, 97, 2000, 2003, 2007 and any later version. Direct connection to Oracle without additional settings. DBMover allows to connect to Oracle database either directly or by using Oracle client. In the case of direct connection, neither Oracle client nor extra DLL files are necessary. |
